The Yasodhara Puja
February 2002 A meditation for opening your heart to the Lady Yasodhara Buddha, a World Mother of Earth The Puja is one of the steps in the progressive meditation system taught by The Theosophical Fellowship. There are three versions of the Puja; this version invokes the Presence of the Lady Yasodhara Buddha into your heart and into your daily life to give healing and contribute gradually to upliftment and illumination. Meditating using the Puja helps develop and purify the quality of devotion to the World Mother, as well as to the teacher within you, your Higher Self and soul. When you sit in the Light and the Heart of the Lady Yasodhara by using this Puja, you have the opportunity to gain spiritual insight and understanding. This insight can help you to live a more spiritual life built upon the principles of Theosophy; and when this happens, your relationships to family, friends, and associates will become more giving and more beautiful. The Puja is offered to help you develop a balanced spiritual life – one that combines carrying out the duties and responsibilities of ordinary life with nurturing a conscious and harmonious relationship with the celestial realms. This meditation technique is available as a booklet. Please email [email protected] if you would like to purchase a copy. |
