The Lord Maitreya - Part 1
A transcript of a lecture given by Ananda Tara Shan in Copenhagen on 27 September 1998 

Dear friends, past and present, because I see I have old associates and friends in this room that I haven’t seen for many years and I see of course many dear friends of the present. 

The Lord Maitreya and the Avatar of Will have sent me to this country for certain purposes - I cannot disclose all of them. But one purpose I am allowed to disclose, and that is that I have come for the Will to help protect Denmark and help the other spiritual groups in this country develop a stronger form of light than exists here, because Denmark is a country of conflict -  conflict between the evil and the positive forces. Many of you are not aware that the negative forces have great play in this country through certain groups of people. The Lord Maitreya, out of His love, sends me to this country with the Avatar of Will, to help change certain conditions within.

Let me start from a beginning. Those of you who have heard the name 'Hierarchy' but do not know about the Hierarchy, to you I would like to explain that the Hierarchy is the Great White Brotherhood, the Inner Government of Earth - Masters, perfected souls, women and men who have learned through many lessons and many lives to perfect their souls and become Adepts and Chohans, and greater Chohans. 

The Masters of Wisdom, the senior disciples of the Christ, the Lord Maitreya, are sixth and seventh initiated Masters. They help Him govern all life on Earth, no matter what department of life. 

There are some very great beings in those departments who are teaching, educating humanity, and these great Masters are the Lord Maha Chohan, who is the Lord of Civilisation; the Master R, the Count of Saint Germain has recently become the new Lord Maha Chohan on Earth; and we have many wonderful beings like the Lord Buddha and His helpers; of course, the Lord Maitreya and His two assistants Jesus and the Lord Kuthumi; and other Masters, all at work, more anxiously at work than ever before because we have reached a crisis point we have never had on this planet Earth.

In order to help the Lord Maitreya before the World War II, He became the leader of a group called the World Server Group, consisting of disciples of Himself, human beings He had initiated on the inner levels and who had become, because of that, disciples of Christ. This group is in action in all countries. Because not all of these disciples are true disciples, they have no memory yet of who they are and they cannot consciously contact the Hierarchy or the Christ, but work from within with a sure guidance of what to do, or out of goodwill, out of love. 

Some of the true disciples are in direct contact with their Masters and the Christ, and can daily communicate with the Masters and the Christ, and are following more consciously and directly the plan which the Lord Maitreya has for this Earth, especially the 500 year plan, which has recently been implemented.

This 500 year plan is the training, preparation and education of a number of souls to learn to become Children of the Heart and become arhats within 500 years, if not Masters, to help the Lord Maitreya when He incarnates in 500 years as the Buddha of the Earth. 

Many people think the Lord Maitreya will first come in 2,500 to 3,000 years. They don’t know that everything that the Lord Maitreya had planned with the Lord of Shamballa - the Lord Sanat Kumara - ages ago, changed during the years of the two world wars. It was during the years of World War II that the Lord Maitreya decided to come earlier than was expected. He is coming in 500 years as the Buddha.

Now He works as the Risen Christ, and He works in a specific manner, overshadowing not only the world server group of disciples, but also the second group of aspirants and probationaries which also form a world server group but not of disciples of Himself – people who are yet uninitiated by Him, but are approaching discipleship on mighty footsteps. 

The Lord Maitreya overshadows these groups of people - that is why the reappearance of the Christ has already started. Many people who are expecting the Lord Christ to walk in one single body, one soul, just like He did with Jesus, will be mightily disappointed because this will not happen. The Lord Maitreya now appears on Earth through a multitude of people - groups and individual people. He has decided to do this, use this method of overshadowing, in the World War years because so many things have changed on Earth - the human consciousness amongst other things. 

But He still cannot appear as Maitreya on the Earth because first we have to learn to bring right human relations throughout the entire humanity, and the quality called goodwill has to be everywhere on this planet before the Lord Maitreya can come Himself. And that is what is going to take 500 years to procure. 

500 years may sound to you like an enormous time, but when you work within the plan, 500 years goes very quickly.  Just looking at this embodiment, see how quickly it goes. The years just move as if they have wings and don’t we know it, because we get older and older (even though we may not feel old within) because ten years passed, twenty, thirty, and before we know of it, we are in the next embodiment and the next, and before we know of it, 500 years have passed, and we are incarnating in China with the Lord Maitreya who becomes the Buddha in that life.

Let me talk about the New World Server Group. What is expected from the Lord Maitreya? That they live by Right Human Relations Principles. And then you say, 'That’s easy. We can do it tomorrow and He’ll come the next day.' But it is not easy, because haven’t I seen how difficult it is to always work from the heart, to always be polite and friendly and act out of love? It is nearly impossible for a human being, especially with our past on this planet. Well, we have been into abuse of sex, power and money for so long, we hardly remember what it’s like to be a being of light, working from unselfish motives and purity of heart. 

Nevertheless, we have to learn and quickly, because if we don’t learn very quickly, this Earth has catastrophes looming above in the near future. So, some people who are studying about the Right Human Relations Principles are trying their very best to live by these principles. And I think some people must be succeeding because the Lord Maitreya is coming closer to the physical level with His energy and His presence, which means that some people somewhere in the world are succeeding to live by the principles of light.

Also, the Lord Maitreya expects every human being who wants to work with Him, to be a child of the heart, to love humanity. Now have you ever tried to love humanity? Do you love humanity in the buses when you go out, and when you have problems at work, and when you meet people in the street and you deal with people you don’t like? Do you love humanity? 

Well, I will admit I didn’t love humanity. I liked a lot of people, I loved some. I didn’t love humanity until I realised the ancient old truth that we are all brothers and sisters in Spirit, no matter what our personalities are. And talking to myself, trying to teach myself: 'We are brothers and sisters in Spirit. We all have the same Spirit of the Logos in us, and we’re all souls and the souls are perfect' - that has helped. 

You have to train yourself. You can only come to teachers who show you the example of what they have learned. No teachers can really teach you to love – you have to teach yourself to love. And we have to teach ourselves to love very quickly, because we are at [the point of] disaster, the brink of catastrophe on this planet due to too much hatred, jealousy and greed here. 

So loving humanity, that’s a very difficult task. I think the Lord Maitreya and the Masters are the only ones who have ever succeeded. Nevertheless, we are expected to succeed and if we work hard, we can succeed. It’s a matter of using the Divine Wisdom and the principles of it to learn that we are one, no matter how separated we have become through religion and philosophies and doctrine. 

How often don’t we think, 'Oh, he’s Muslim, he’s Jewish, he’s Christian, he’s a black person, he’s this and he’s that. He’s got long ears, he’s got ingrown toenails.' But who cares about all this? The Lord Maitreya sees nothing of it. He only sees that we are one in Spirit, and that our souls are brothers and sisters. 

And it takes the right decision and the right decision is: Understand it or leave this Earth - because that’s what’s going to happen, you see. The people who are left on this Earth will be Children of the Heart, the new humanity, and everybody else will have to leave. So this Earth, as you can imagine, will be very, very scarcely populated before long because the Master Maitreya doesn’t want anyone here who doesn’t try to love humanity, love each other, and live by the Right Human Relations Principles. 

So if you like the planet Earth, if you really feel that’s your abode and you would like to stay here for at least another period of 2,500 years, you’ve got to shape up quickly.

The third point is that the Lord Maitreya - well, what He expects of us I call it nearly impossible, but after 20-some years I think I’ve learned. I think I understand Him now. He wants us to work equally much from will and heart, from mind and heart. See, the Lord Maitreya, who is the Christ, has been given the new development or assignment (call it what you like) - He is actually slowly also becoming a Lord of Will. 

In 1986, the Avatar of Synthesis arrived on the planet Earth. The Avatar of Synthesis is a gigantic being who comes from the Universe. He works with Logos. He came to this Earth, called in by the Hierarchy who needed His help. And the Lord D.K. has written about the Avatar of Synthesis in the books written by Alice Bailey. 

The Lord of Will is the destroyer who was expected at this time. He destroys every foundation which is not built upon love, whether it’s society, government, politics, spiritual organisations, art work. Anything that’s not built on love, He destroys because we can’t have it here on this Earth in this age, because we’re actually entering into the age of love. 

And the Lord Christ has not only taken on being the gigantic Christ, but also becoming a Lord of Will, and that will take Him some time. He needs the 500 years that are expected before His arrival to learn this, so if He hasn’t learned this completely, can we expect it from us? No - that’s the comfort. No, we also need 500 years to learn to stimulate both mind and heart. 

But I’ve been going through the mill for the last 16 years after I was accepted as a disciple of the Lord Maitreya and I know what it’s like to work - very little, I know what it’s like to work with the will and the heart.  It is so difficult that I sometimes think it’s hopeless, but it actually can be learned because sometimes the centre for will and heart actually merge, and then you know what it’s all about. Love and will - that’s what the Avatars of Heart and Will are talking about and that is what we have to develop within us - love and will.

What the Lord Maitreya also wishes is that we love Him unconditionally. And that means no questions asked. You are allowed to ask questions of course - it’s very difficult to explain what I mean. I mean the Christ knows the plan for the Earth and we just obey Him the best we can and serve the best we can. And if one cannot cope with serving the Lord Christ totally out of love, and just simply following  His advice and guidelines because He is the wayshower that sees it all, then it’s hopeless.

And many people who also want to keep a materialistic life, or want to live a materialistic life and live a spiritual life on the side as a hobby, cannot manage to love the Christ unconditionally,  because to love the Christ unconditionally means to work for the Christ wholeheartedly day and night; absolutely no heart withheld, no energies withheld, work as much as He wants, do what He asks. The assignments that are given to you, perform them as well as you can, out of love for Him and humanity. 

The fifth point is that the Lord Maitreya – and that’s also a misconception that many may have – is only working in the religious sector, which He isn’t. He’s working in all sectors of life, and He has disciples who are politicians, He has disciples who are business people, disciples who are becoming great artists, great educators and great musicians. And then, I think actually religion is the last priority for His work which is why the Christ is, as He’s always said, everywhere. 

Now, you look at your politicians and you may ask me, 'Where is the Lord Maitreya in the politicians here in Denmark? I can’t see Him.' Well, I can assure you they haven’t come yet but they will because He’s actually working on the next generation for that. There won’t be any politicians really working for the Lord Maitreya except when your children start to work. And that is the start of generations of disciples in politics. We have been told that in Australia it will take two to three generations to fill the Parliament with disciples. And then, when that is happening, you shall see another government from the physical level on this Earth.

So what do we do now, because we still have to keep the Earth? We’ve got to do something. The politicians are not working out so well. And the religious leaders are, very many of them, more thinking about themselves and keeping their truth than trying to live the principles of divinity. What do we do? 

That’s where the world server group comes in, that’s where you come in to the affair. You have to take the reins. You have got to take charge. You have got to, in your meditations and the energy work in your activities, tune in on the Lord Maitreya and simply work for Him and let Him use you as best as possible, because you are going to make do for all the people that still don’t exist on this planet, who are not yet trained to take the reins.

There is a quality that we all the time mention now, it’s the will to do good, the will to love. It is actually, interestingly enough, a first ray quality. And a first ray quality that becomes a second ray quality through the Christ’s work. 

The Lord Christ is actually connecting – it’s never happened before on this Earth that Shamballa, the centre for the Will of God; the Head of the Hierarchy through Maitreya, the centre of the Hierarchy; and the centre of humanity are merging so that humanity can actually enter into Shamballa without being a Master soul. Humanity can enter into the energy called Shamballa, which is the true City of Peace, Jerusalem, on the inner levels, in dreams, in sleep, in meditations. The door has opened. 

These three main centres are therefore working on this planet Earth also through the Christ  and stimulated by the Christ to spiritualise this planet Earth. So when some people say, 'It’s true, Earth will eventually become a holy planet Earth, shall we say in 5,000 years, in 10,000 years' – no, it’s happening now.  That’s why we go through a rebirth - it’s all happening now. Tell the Theosophists and the Alice Bailey people and every spiritual organisation that it’s all happening now. Not in 2,000 years or whatever they think. That is the change. That is causing a change on Earth which is gigantic. And the Hierarchy Themselves didn’t know, until recently, that They had implemented this change to this extent. 

The Hierarchy has survived of course, has been on this Earth ever since the Lord Sanat Kumara came down from Venus millions of years ago. The Lord Sanat Kumara came down with an entourage from different planets of Buddhas and Christed initiates and initiates from the Lodge of Sirius, and Masters – name it, they came with Him. And some of the souls He brought are within the Hierarchy at this stage and are becoming the new Masters very shortly, because the Hierarchy is totally changing appearance. 

Nearly half the Masters, or more, are leaving in 500 years. Archangel Michael, who has been here for so long, the great archangel who has started the mystery school, who has worked mystery school upon mystery school on this Earth, is leaving. The Lord Gautama Buddha is leaving for greater work. The Lord Jesus is leaving. I think many more are leaving - many, many, many. And that is why we’ve got to really shape up, because the initiates who have been chosen to become the new Masters have to complete their training in less than 500 years. They’re taking over the offices, some of the offices, and some of the sub-ashrams are taken over more and more by new Masters. So many things are happening.

What did the Lord Sanat Kumara do when He came to Earth? Not many people know this. He became the Master of this Earth’s evolution. He is the one that has created human beings like you, the way you look today, and the way you are – not your negative selves, mind you, you created those yourself - but your soul and your positive self have been stimulated by visions of the Lord Sanat Kumara, divine visions.*

Therefore, you are part of a unique evolution that doesn’t exist on many planets. And not only that, the initiatory system was brought down to this Earth by the Lord Sanat Kumara and implemented here. And there’s only one similar and that’s on Venus. Other planets haven’t got the same initiatory system, meaning that you walk on a very, very long path that is reaching out into the sort of beginner souls, and you become aspirants slowly, in average humanity or that group and later probationaries and then you become disciples, initiates, Masters and so forth. It is a unique system for the Earth. 

Many of the Masters who incarnated here to help humanity and the evolution of the Earth have never been through this initiatory system. Enormous entities tried to become human, and what did they see? That it was very difficult, and they actually failed the Lord Sanat Kumara, many failed Him, many flunked, many didn’t manage, because they had never tried to live a human existence before with all the temptations and the ignorance, and they had never, ever tried this kind of planet before. It’s a very difficult planet to live on. And therefore, when an Adept has completed training on the Earth, they are recognised as very great Adepts, because they have enormous experiences and expertise, and they have enormous love for human beings, whom they understand completely, inside out. 

And that is the beauty with the Lord Maitreya. His understanding of human nature is immense. He’s been walking in human bodies himself. He was the beautiful Lord Krishna before He became Lord Maitreya through Jesus. He is just love. And His brother, the Lord Gautama Buddha, has had nearly all the big incarnations as world saviours on this planet Earth. Some of the greatest incarnations belong to the Lord Gautama Buddha who was Orpheus and Hermes and Zarathustra – so many of the great world teachers, before He became the Buddha.

So these Beings that belong to the Hierarchy, They have supported the Earth for so long, and you can only support this kind of humanity if you love them. If you didn’t love them, you would just wish yourself to be about 10,000 kilometers up that way. 

The Hierarchy is therefore a unique hierarchy on this Earth. And the Lord Maitreya a unique entity. And to work with Him and be with Him is so difficult because you feel yourself unworthy and dirty and filthy, and as you develop soul contact, and as you develop a closer communication with the Masters and especially the Lord Maitreya, you have to face your own past, and that is where many people fail – they can’t take it. And now you’ve got to learn courage and strength. You have to learn to take it because you only have 500 years before you have to stand as an arhat with the Lord Maitreya. 

So, I want to say to you that I have worked with the Lord Maitreya for 16 years, and I have learned just a little bit about what He wants for humanity, what He wants with the disciples, and how little help and support He gets from the disciples because many disciples think it’s enough to write books, it’s enough to sit at home and meditate alone. They are shy of working in groups because they don’t want to share their energies and the work with other people. They don’t want to work with the Lord Maitreya, they find it too difficult. They don’t want to serve the Christ whom they have promised to serve before re-embodying, and we are in a miserable condition on this Earth because too many disciples are not working with the Christ. 

They study books and they absorb knowledge. They don’t work, they don’t serve. They are more self-centered than ever before. They are so self-interested, the Christ can’t use them  which is why He had to call help from other planets some years ago - and He said to me He hasn’t had to do that ever. And so we’re not getting enough helpers until the next generation, because these souls are being born right now. And we have to wait for them to grow up and take charge which is why the Hierarchy says it’s happening in one generation.

So we are in a very difficult situation on this planet. Many people think mistakenly because Alice Bailey books write that there are so many disciples and these disciples are working so well, but they aren’t working. These books are written before the world war and straight after, and things have changed. When the disciples that the Lord Djwal Khul spoke about re-embodied in the forties - I myself reincarnated in ’46 - then the Hierarchy discovered that these very fine disciples who had shown great courage and strength in the Second World War and had supported the Christ for many thousands of years, they had become so fearful after the lessons learned in the Second World War – the torture, the torment, the death, the traumatic experiences – that they came back shell-shocked, suffering from inertia and apathy. 

And that is the greatest horror that I come across on this Earth today. Not the violence in the outer world. We could quickly do away with that. We could quickly change this Earth into a peaceful planet, but the disciples suffer from total inertia and apathy. They won’t take responsibility for anything at all. They won’t take responsibility for their lives, their duties, they’ve forgotten the promises made to the Lord Christ. They couldn’t care less. 

They sit and study books and they think that being teachers and doing workshops save this planet Earth. They don’t participate in the energy work that the Lord Maitreya wishes that groups perform together and that we perform in the Fellowship, which is top priority - the Earth Healing Services. And I know that other people also do the healing services but you need disciples to conduct them to get the energy through. Even if you have lots of people who perform these services very well, they don’t get the energy through. You’ve got to be a higher disciple. 

It is a known fact you’ve got to be a disciple beyond third initiation to be able to work with the great Masters of the Hierarchy, certain of them. And a fourth initiate somewhere in your inner bodies to be able to work with the Lord Maha Chohan and others. 

So, we are in a very bad situation, and we have to make do with the aspirants, the average humanity and the probationaries because we have fewer and fewer disciples helping us. They’re simply so full of themselves and so negative towards the light these days and so much in need of power still and so much in the grip of ambitions that they can’t work for the Christ. There’s no love in them. There is ambition, there’s a drive force which has come through due to ambition, but there is no love for anyone, and there’s no true love for the Christ.

So, whenever we have a beautiful soul walking around on Earth like Mother Teresa, everyone is gaping because we have so few souls working publicly. We have a number of disciples working on the inner but we have so few beautiful disciples working publicly. And whenever one is truly unselfish and truly beautiful, and really loving the Christ, well, everyone on Earth is just astounded that it can still be done as if there can’t be any more saints - the age of saints has disappeared and it hasn’t, because we’re getting a lot of new saints, namely the new kind of saint who is both very practical of nature and very spiritual, but they work differently. 

And so, we still have excellent people walking around in countries but without the enormous faceless group, the second group of world servers that are not disciples, we couldn’t get any work done at all. So these people are blessed, highly blessed by the Lord Maitreya, and He tries His very best to stimulate everything He can in them, so they can be of use.

See, I was a disciple who had for many lifetimes worked with the Masters of wisdom, the Lord Kuthumi, the Lord Morya and others were my Masters. And I had never . . . 

[In the unrecorded portion, Ananda spoke about how she had asked to become a disciple of the Lord Maitreya and that her request was accepted. Then she spoke of the challenges that followed from becoming a disciple of the Lord Maitreya, including payment of karma. The audio recording picks up at the point where Ananda says:]

... repayment started up. Well, had I known it would be that bad, I might not have been so jolly when I asked, but I still would have asked.

I am born with the knowledge of the Lord Maitreya and His work and what He decided to do before this incarnation. I was part of meetings, the meetings where the Lord Maitreya decided that He was going to change some of the ways of the Hierarchy, the way They work, and His own version of the plan that had been known for thousands of years. There wasn’t any time for that plan. He had to come. He had to prepare for coming in 500 years, or the light on the planet Earth and the new consciousness that humanity was developing wouldn’t come true.

It’s an incarnation that we have learned something about slowly. The Lord Maitreya incarnates, I don’t know why, in China of all places. But it’s not really true, because China is going to change completely. Don’t look at the China of today, with dreadful torture of their people and evil government and all that. Don’t look at that country. It will be totally different. And the change will come over the 500 years. Many higher disciples are going to incarnate there and bring through a very, very new understanding of life in that country. 

And the Lord Maitreya is going to incarnate and have a short embodiment, not like the Lord Gautama or Jesus, a long embodiment, but a short embodiment because He is only needed for a certain number of years. The plan is that His mother continues the work and spreads it all over into humanity and over the Earth with all the 9,000 arhats and Masters, or more, that will be accompanying Him - quite an enormous number in comparison to the number other world teachers have had. 

Jesus had very few disciples and followers - really, really devoted followers - when He worked in Israel (Palestine in those days). And the Lord Gautama Buddha had a certain number, but not that many either. It is something totally new that a world teacher is arriving with so many helpers, and that is because of the importance. 

The Lord Maitreya has a greater mission, a greater task, than any other world teachers have ever had, and He’s taken on more assignments than any other Christ ever has because He has taken over becoming the Great Spirit for the Native American people and for the Aboriginal people in Australia. He takes on more and more assignments. He’s helping the Lord Gautama Buddha, who doesn’t like ceremonial work. He’s working directly with the Lord Sanat Kumara, initiating, taking on a lot of duties, initiating souls and working in specific manner, in a specific way. He is nearly a kind of Lord of the World on this planet now, as the Lord Sanat Kumara is slowly moving His face away from the Earth and is preparing to move away from the planet Earth because He has nearly completed the work here. And the Lord Gautama Buddha is too busy doing other things, so the Lord Maitreya has been given a lot of work under that great office of Lord of the World. The Lord Maitreya has taken over so much work that I don’t understand how He’s managing it – but that’s why He needs helpers on the physical level of Earth, many more helpers.

The Lord Maitreya is wonderful to work with. You will come to know Him in this day and age. He has come through other souls throughout the Piscean Age, but in this day and age He stands as Himself, with His own vibration, no intermediary. 

He comes as Himself. Even if He speaks through me, it is only until more people can connect with Him and feel Him. But people have difficulties feeling His vibration because it is an enormously high vibration. 

But He’s not using me as He used Jesus, for example - Jesus, the very perfect soul. He just needs vehicles that He can work through in some way or the other, but appear as Himself. I don’t know if you understand what I mean. 

So, I would like to say that it is something unique to work with the Lord Maitreya. It’s difficult and it can be done. And the Lord Maitreya is releasing more and more new Divine Wisdom. We call it Maitreya Theosophy because it comes directly from His heart and Theosophy to us is the Divine Wisdom as the Masters have revealed it and released it. 

So we are into Theosophy, but we have gone further than was started by the great theosophists in the last century and early this century, because now we work with ceremonial work. We work consciously in a special work with the Masters and we are opening up so we can receive the new revelation. And that has something to do - that is the new world religion, which has something to do with understanding totally the Law of Reincarnation and the Law of Karma. 

And it’s not easily done, because one has to understand from the heart. Even the Lord D.K. says you’ve got to study His books from the heart. Every Master says you’ve got to learn from the heart now. And when you study, you have to try to study from the heart, and you get a complete other vision and other understanding from the books that you study.

Top priority is the Earth Healing Services, They say. That’s what They can’t do without. We have too few people involved. There are too few groups with disciples conducting these services around the Earth and therefore we’re not really making it as well as we could have made it. And that hurts the Lord Maitreya. 

You may think that these great beings do not feel – They feel, They cry. The great Masters cry when humanity is lagging backwards or failing in some way, because They are part of humanity, They want this planet to succeed. They want people to learn. They want to see a beautiful holy planet with the right population growing up here. They worked for this plan for thousands, if not millions, of years and when the disciples are failing the Christ, He cries.

So He is definitely the most wonderful Master to work for, and we have to try to open up to Him and support Him, and that means give of your time, give of your energy, give of your finances - give to the cause of Maitreya wherever you see it. Give and give and give. 

[What] Maitreya talks about is – it’s not only if you’ve got academic skills. It’s fine if you have them, it’s fine if you don’t. He needs your heart. He needs your goodwill. He needs you to love your fellow human beings, and help and support Him and them. If you’re waiting for skills to be developed before you accept the Lord Maitreya, well then you won’t be able to help Him. 

Many people in certain movements think that everything is intellectual skills, and if you haven’t got them you can’t serve the Masters. Many disciples haven’t got any intellectual skills. Many disciples have light. They radiate, they have energy, and they use it, they are active. And they are worth a hundred times more than the ones with intellectual skills that separate themselves from humanity and who think they are doing the world a lot of good – they do nothing at all except polish up their own egos. So, you don’t need intellectual skills always, you need to be a server and then you will be lifted up and you will be transmuted. You will go through a wonderful development and live in Maitreya’s world – which I have lived in for years, and I cannot explain how wonderful it is. It’s difficult but it’s a wonderful world to live in.

Remember, Maitreya is the Christ who is the teacher of all men and angels. He’s not the teacher only for Children of the Heart on this Earth. He’s the teacher for all children of the mind, for all the population, all the angel population. And this is not an evangelistic meeting where we’re trying to build up this guru or this one Master. We must remember that the Lord Maitreya is the guru of all gurus, Master of all Masters. That no matter what teacher you are, what guru you belong to, everyone is underneath Maitreya. 

So it’s connect with Him that we must do now, in this day and age. I cannot give you in words how wonderful He is, except to say the Lord Maitreya has become the Spirit of the Earth and that has never been taken on, that task, by any Master of the Hierarchy. He is divine, and unique.

We travelled with a pianist whom I have come to know in Australia and who is wonderful at the piano, and who I discovered could be used by the Lord Maitreya as another vehicle. The Lord Maitreya uses anyone who can be used – you remember my lecture – and I found that B... could be used by the Lord Maitreya. He has a wonderful energy when he plays.

I love music, and we’ve had the most wonderful new age musician and the most wonderful classical musician with us at the sojourn here in Copenhagen. Master works through these great musicians, and it is our hope that on these journeys we’re going to bring more and more wonderfully skilled people who play different instruments and sing and, who knows, artists as well, lovely painters, sculptors, who knows, who knows what we will be meeting.
