Nature Must Carry the Overwhelming Demand
April 2001 Nature has been abused by us in modern society because we have progressed towards a higher lifestyle, and therefore over-production of goods has taken its toll upon nature and nature’s produce in the last 100 years. We are many people on Earth, and all want a good or at least a financially better life. In the western world, people seek constant pleasure in sexual conduct, food, clothes, cars, property and other objects, electrical and non-electrical. In the eastern world the same goes for those who can afford it. The rest and the most people in the western and eastern worlds long for what they cannot have. Nature must carry the overwhelming demand for energy sources, food, clothes, and now suffers because of excessive use of computers and lately the Internet’s disturbing effect upon the Earth body. Ruthless exploitation is destroying the forests of the Earth; pollution is damaging wildlife, oceans, cities, and exhausting the soil, eating higher proportions of the air which we breathe, this manifesting in vegetables with an extraordinary lack of vitamins and minerals, dead fish in the waters, wildlife disappearing. Sound is deafening in the cities, and fears are rising with the imbalance of nature, for humanity knows the day of reckoning is approaching and there is nowhere to flee to. Once a year the Christ embraces nature and sends His glorious Light into nature. With the assistance of the Angelic Kingdom, He bestows new life and vitality into nature. But He cannot counteract the abuse that is occurring, even with the yearly resurrection of nature, which for a moment bathes in the Presence of the Risen Christ. |
