The Church of the Resurrected Life is a focus for healing and ascension. It builds upon the mysticism found in the tradition of mystical Theosophy.

Christmas is in the month of Saturn, when the light in humanity needs much stimulation, for Saturn is to many an extremely difficult energy, creating depression, rapid changes, or rapid payment of karmic debts.

The Festival of Light held at this time of year – which is an ancient tradition, meaning much older than Christianity – is in mysticism very meaningful, as it stands for the birth of Christ within the heart.

What we therefore observe, from the 12th of December through the 12th January, and why we rejoice, is the glorious inner splendour of the Christ and His angels as They approach and embrace the physical level of Earth with a mighty shower of love and light, which in many people with good hearts awakens strong goodwill and joy. This effect heals the planet Earth, especially around the 24th and 25th of December. Humanity has a major effect in the well being of the planet Earth, which is why, if there is a general feeling of goodwill, it has a healing effect upon the planet.

In mysticism, the night of the 24th of December is the night of the Mother. The Cosmic Mother gives birth to the Sun Being, the Illuminator of the solar system. All women who give birth to World Teachers, Jesus being a World Teacher, symbolise this event, and realise this symbolic event on the physical level by giving physical birth.

The 25th of December is the day when the sun shines brightly, having been born from the womb of darkness, darkness referring here not to evil but to the dark womb of the Mother – in Latin, lux in tenebris, light out of darkness – to embrace all living in a blazing light which strengthens the good in all. This birth of the sun stays as an energy through the next days, where, upon the 31st of December, the energy of the Father descends as Will upon Earth and humanity. This Will strengthens the will to do good in all.

This monumental event is followed by the twelve holy days where the light, the love, and the power, which the pure of heart have received over Christmas, settle within them, and a new year filled with inspiration and a stronger motivation for good leads the light-bearer to greater achievements.

Let me explain that these achievements may be found more on the inner than on the outer. Many achievements will never be found on the physical level. We must recognise the many levels of life and know that achievements can manifest on any of them – the physical-etheric, astral, mental, or soul. The more a light-bearer cooperates with the Christmas energies each year, the more in tune he or she will find him- or herself with the Christed One, and will walk the Path which He walked before the Lord and Lady to heal the Earth and to bring forward humanity.

​The Earth has seen many messengers of God walking about healing and teaching, but one of them is very dear to our hearts at the festival of light held in the western world, and that one is the Lord Jesus.

Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, who was an archangel in Her inner being, become a human being. The Lady Mary has been loved for 2,000 years as the chosen vessel for the Holy Spirit to give birth to a great World Teacher – a manifestation of the sun in the flesh.

He was born with a heart radiant as the sun, with a purity of such fineness that He outshone all living human beings of His time, even more so when the Sun Being in the Lord Maitreya descended into Him at the time of the baptism in the Jordan.

After years of inner training and education in holy centres in Egypt, India and Tibet, He became totally absorbed into the Christed One, whereupon He was made into the living, shining beacon who one billion or more men, women and children consider their way-shower.

​Jesus is a fiery furnace who, with love, burns away all human errors and human weaknesses in those who allow Him to enter into their willing hearts and open minds. He is the Healer and the Brother of all who seek His loving care.
